A rally for a right-wing extremist figure has been banned near Paris

The Paris police headquarters banned a gathering planned for Saturday morning in Thiais at the initiative of the Les Nationalistes movement in honor of Pierre Sidos, a representative of the far-right Pétainists who died in 2020.

“The police prefect prohibits a meeting of the nationalist movement announced by social networks for Saturday September 2nd at the #Thiais cemetery (94),” announced the PP on X (formerly Twitter).

“The lack of authorization from the city of Paris and the risk of comments or gestures that violate the laws of the Republic justify this ban,” she added.

“Meet in Paris around the figure of chef Pierre Sidos for the three years of his disappearance,” the small right-wing extremist group started on its Instagram account.

Pierre Sidos was the founder of the Jeune Nation movement and then of L’Oeuvre française.

Yvan Benedetti followed him at the helm of the oeuvre française before this openly anti-Semitic movement disbanded in 2013 following the killing of far-left activist Clément Méric during a battle with small extremist groups in Paris. RIGHT.
