Anthony Mackie has revealed that working on Law & Order: Criminal Intent was the “worst moment” of his acting career.
During an interview with Inverse, the Marvel star recalled working on an episode of ” “Law & Order: Criminal intent» with a director who didn’t speak English.
When asked what he remembers from filming the episode, he replied, “Yo, that was one of the craziest moments I’ve ever witnessed in my career. We had a director who didn’t speak English, so his direction was always, “Anthony.” [imite visage triste] or Anthony [grogne en levant les poings]and if you watch this episode, it was probably the worst acting moment of my career.”
The 44-year-old actor went on to praise fellow filmmaker Vincent D’Onofrio for stepping in and directing. “Thanks to Vincent D’Onofrio. Vincent said, “Hey, cut it out. He’s too good an actor for you to do that to him. I will guide him.’ And he guided me through the rest of the episode,” he added.
The actor from “we have a spirit» portrayed the character of Carl Hines, a writer suspected of murdering his girlfriend.
Anthony Mackie has previously said in an interview that despite some difficult times behind the scenes, he’s often credited for his guest starring role on the popular show. He recently finished filming “Captain America: Brave New World», his first film as the new Captain America. The film is slated to hit theaters on July 24, 2024.
