“With all this tension, I thought I was going to explode every night before I went on stage because I thought I wouldn't be able to perform on stage anymore. I told myself it's over, I'm done,” the new La Voix coach said in an excerpt published on Monday.

As director Charles Martel explores her “demons,” we also find the Roxane Bruneau we know, with her joys, her enthusiasm and her exuberance.
“It still looks beautiful from the outside. When the cameras turn off and the curtain closes, things can get extremely ugly,” the 32-year-old artist continues.

“We had days off and they wanted to plan activities and I didn’t get involved in anything. I wanted to stay in my room, I was in a bad mood. “I didn’t want to go to a restaurant, I wanted to go there,” she says.

It's a “deeply human story of perseverance and determination,” they emphasize, making us feel like we're there during the show on Sunday, January 21 at 9 p.m. on TVA.
