Fat Maya member of an Aluniceros gang was shot dead

Police are investigating the attack suffered by Gordo Maya, a known member of a criminal gang, in Madrid this Friday night, who was shot dead in the middle of the street in Madrid’s Ciudad Lineal district. The wounded man, FM, 24 years old and arrested on multiple occasions, is a member of the Goyito Gang, an organization dedicated to committing robberies using the moon landing method, in which vehicles are crashed into storefront windows to gain access to get the bodies and take the loot.

According to the National Police, the incidents happened around 11:30 p.m. when he was at 11 Avenida del Marqués de Corbera, where witnesses say a man approached him and shot him several times with a large gun. A team from Samur came to the scene of the accident and was made aware of the existence of a gunshot wound in the middle of the road. The victim, who was taken to Gregorio Marañón Hospital, has an entry and exit wound on his left arm from a gunshot. As ABC advanced, several witnesses asserted that the attacker threw in the trash a hat he was using to cover his face and the dark clothing he was wearing. This medium also ensures that the victim was on the street and arguing with several people at the time of his shooting.

Near the crime scene, officers found a pistol with a silencer and an electric scooter that the gunman allegedly used to arrive at the scene. He also collected four cases. Police investigating the incident say they don’t currently know if there was a previous conversation or if the attacker and the victim knew each other.

In October 2021, when there were already more than fifteen arrests, Gordo Maya was arrested along with his friend Goyito. The Aluniceros gang, made up of Gordo Maya, Goyito, his brother Christian El Ruso, El Mansalvas and a young Moroccan man, have been accused of carrying out 52 robberies in just three months at workshops and shops in the provinces of Madrid and Toledo. A month later he was arrested for allegedly stabbing the driver of a vehicle on Calle de Meneses in Madrid’s Arganzuela district after a traffic call. During this operation, Gordo Maya tried to flee from the police in a car and caused damage to other vehicles while fleeing. He was also arrested a few months ago and accused of kidnapping and torturing drug dealers in order to commit robberies as stealing drugs and money from drug dealers is known.
