Lana Del Rey announces a 10-day North American mini-tour in Fall 2023

Lana Del Rey fans got a treat Monday when she announced an upcoming fall tour that will primarily take her through the American South and Southwest.

The 38-year-old singer-songwriter will embark on a modest 10-day tour in Franklin, Tennessee, near Nashville, beginning in mid-September.

She is venturing on the journey after making a splash over the weekend when she was among the high-profile guests, along with Taylor Swift and Cara Delevingne, at the wedding of actress Margaret Qualley and musician, songwriter and producer Jack Antonoff.

Lana announced her latest dates less than a week after completing an even shorter tour that included two solo dates and three festival appearances.

She has been promoting her most recent album, Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, which was a critical acclaim, peaking at number three on the Billboard 200 album chart.

After beginning her tour on September 14th near Nashville, Lana will continue south to Texas, stopping in Austin on September 17th and one in Dallas on September 19th.

She will next perform in Huntsville, Alabama on September 21st and then travel back to Florida on September 23rd for a show in Wes Palm Beach.

After another stop in Tampa on September 25th, the Video Games singer will perform in Brandon, Mississippi on September 27th before heading to Charlotte, North Carolina on the 29th.

Del Rey (born Elizabeth Grant) will break her new schedule with her previously announced performance at the All Things Go Music Festival at the legendary Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on October 1st.

She will then wrap up her tour with her only Northeast date on October 3rd in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, followed by a final show in Charleston, West Virginia on October 5th.

The Norman F***ing Rockwell! The singer’s short tour stands in stark contrast to the schedules of some of her singer friends, including Taylor Swift, who recently wrapped up the majority of her concerts in the first year of her Eras tour, capping off with a stunning six-day tour at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, making her the first act at this massive venue planning five or more shows for a single tour before a few stray dates in Mexico and Brazil later this year.

Lana, who met Taylor at Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff’s wedding over the weekend, also has a working relationship with the pop titan as she joined Taylor on their Midnights track “Snow On The Beach.”

In an interview with Billboard in February, Lana expressed surprise that she was the only artist to be featured on Taylor’s hit album.

Southern Tour: Lana will be touring primarily in the southern and southwestern United States, with just a single tour date in the Northeast (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on October 3; seen in Paris on July 10).

“Well, first of all, I had no idea I was the only feature [on that song]. “Had I known, I would have sung the entire second verse the way she wanted it,” she admitted.

“My job as a feature on a major artist’s album is to make sure I contribute to the production of the song, so I focused more on the production.” She was adamant that she wanted me on the album, and I really liked the song,” added Del Rey.

Although “Snow On The Beach” ended up being a Top 10 hit for Swift and Del Rey, and being the latter singer’s highest-charting single, fans were upset that Lana’s vocals were relatively minimal and mixed quite low .

Taylor fixed that with a later deluxe edition of “Midnights,” which included a bonus version of the song titled “More Lana Del Rey,” though it was about 25 seconds shorter than the original mix.
