A US survey showed that Millennials (people born between 1981 and 1995) have much more love for your pets than for many relatives. According to the findings of Consumer Affairs 85% of cat owners said they love their pet more than at least one family member. In the group of dog owners, the index decreases slightly: 83%. Looking at the tutors of all types of pets, the average is in 81%.
But what relatives are loved less by these Americans than animals? At the forefront of rejection are brothers, named by 57% of millennials. In second place comes the mother (50%) followed by dad (41%), through grandparents (31%) and through partner (30%). uncles and cousins appear last and are mentioned by only 12%. Some people cited more than one family member being surpassed by an animal for affection.

Also are on average 58% of Millennials said they’d rather have a pet (whom they call a child) than a human baby. Especially for cat “parents” the index increases 63%.
More: 49% said they would be willing to take on a second job to fund their pet’s veterinary emergencies. Another 43% said they would sell their TV for it, and 41% would sell the laptop.

Another result attracts attention: 37% of Millennials said they would rather live in a petfriendly city and be close to friends.
