Vanessa Feltz promises ‘no more toyboys’ as she appears on Celebs Go Dating after splitting from cheating ex-fiancé Ben Ofoedu
Vanessa Feltz has vowed to “stop doing toyboys” while appearing on Celebs Go Dating following her split from cheating ex-fiancé Ben Ofoedu.
The 61-year-old TV personality said she was ready to “shake things up” during her stint on dating show Channel Four.
Earlier this year, Vanessa revealed she had split from her partner of 17 because he had claimed he had been unfaithful and exchanged “sex texts” with another woman, which he later confirmed.
When she signed on to the dating show, she admitted that based on past experiences, she was looking for someone she could “trust.”
Vanessa told The Mirror: “I’ve just spent 17 years with a man 10 years my junior, so I’m considering not dating a man younger now.”

She added, “Someone I can trust would be good and someone who means what they say.” I think it would be nice to have someone you can really trust.
“I’ve just spent 17 years with a man 10 years my junior, so I’m considering not dating a man younger now.”
News follows that Vanessa has decided to mend her broken heart by going out every night.
The presenter revealed that in the 140 days since her relationship with her 50-year-old ex-fiancé Ben broke up, she’s surrounded herself with the words “I’m just not good alone” in the company of others.
Five months later, the This Morning star said she was ready to get back to dating in hopes of finding her “Prince Charming” who is “kind and honest.”
“It’s been 20 weeks, I’ve been out every night for 140 nights without a single exception.” I meet friends and family, go to people’s houses, go to the movies, if there’s a premiere, I’ve been there, I’ve been to everything,” Vanessa told OK! Magazine.
“I’ve found that I can keep going like this. I’m just not good at being alone – it’s not in my DNA.”
Vanessa says she feels a lot better five months after their breakup as she got over the initial shock of Ben’s betrayal.
Glammed up: Upon signing up for the dating show, she admitted that past experiences made her want someone she could “trust”.
She said: “I’m hoping to take her fresh and not burden her with anything that’s ever happened before, otherwise when you do that you start to think you can’t trust anyone and then you have yours Kind of ruined any chance of luck.’ before you even had a chance to try.’
The presenter has revealed she’s ready to start dating again – but has held back on rumors she’s set to star in new series Celebs Go Dating.
Vanessa said: “I can say with certainty that it would be perfect for me and I would be absolutely ready to do my best. I will take it very seriously and hope it brings me the true love of my life and Prince Charming.” .’
Meanwhile, Vanessa’s ex-Ben claimed he was “out of control” following his recent cheating scandal and that his life was only “saved” by a starring role on new London show Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding.
