The large metal sphere, about 1.5 meters in diameter, found on a beach in the city of Hamamatsu, Japan, has drawn attention from the press and authorities, who have yet to identify the object’s origin. The information comes from CNN.
According to Japanese state media NHK, the authorities confirmed that the bullet does not pose a threat to the communityalthough they still don’t know what it is.

The orangebrown object is about 1.5 meters in diameter metal and rusty. The object was found by a resident of the Enshuhama beach area who called the police, thinking it was an explosive mine.
Upon arriving at the scene, police cordoned off the area bomb squad was called. After examining the object with Xray equipment, it was verified that the sphere is hollow and presented no danger or explosion hazard.
Officials managing the site said the mysterious orb should be removed from the beach soon after no danger was found.
A man who frequently walks along Enshuhama Beach told NHK that the object had been lying on the sand for about a month before police were called. So far, it has not been possible to identify what the bullet is or where it came from.
