New photos of Tammy Slaton from TLC reality show 1000-lb Sisters have surfaced, prompting fans to comment on her weight loss success.
The 36-year-old reality star has lost around 300 pounds after years of dealing with health issues, according to The Sun.
Tammy once tipped the scales at about 700 pounds, but last year after spending some time at a food rehab center, she announced that she had reached her goal weight of 550 pounds, which meant she was able to was to undergo bariatric surgery.
Last December, she shared a TikTok video of herself showing off her new look, prompting fans to praise her for how “amazing” she looks.
And now she looks slimmer in the photos Southern Indiana Combat Production shared on her Facebook page last week.

The pictures, which show a beaming Tammy with her sister Amy, were praised by her fans, who took to Reddit to discuss her massive weight loss.
One wrote: “Can you imagine how much better she feels and that’s probably why her attitude is better. I know she still has a long way to go, but what she has already lost must be a great relief for her body. I’m proud of her and hope she continues on a healthier path.”
Another agreed, adding: “People keep saying they can’t say she’s lost a tremendous amount of weight. Look at her! She’s half the size she used to be and it’s obvious!’
Meanwhile, another noted that Tammy was standing unaided after years of using a wheelchair or walker.
They wrote: “Seriously good for them! I’ve never seen her without a walker.”
Another Redditor said, “This is the first time I’ve seen Tammy standing and looking like she’s actually fine with standing alone. Good for you!!!’
Not only has Tammy lost a significant amount of weight over the past year, but she’s also been happy in her personal life.
In November, Tammy – who previously revealed she is pansexual – married her partner Caleb Willingham during an intimate ceremony surrounded only by her family and loved ones.

However, earlier this year she caused fans to panic after her TikTok account was apparently deactivated when she was taken to the emergency room.
Tammy had taken her fans on her weight loss journey via her social media while she was being treated at the rehab center.
But when fans noticed that her social media account was showing an error message at the same time she was taken to the hospital and put on a ventilator after she stopped breathing, they panicked.
At the hospital, Tammy underwent a tracheotomy — a surgical procedure in which doctors make an incision in his neck and insert a breathing tube into his windpipe.
Fans took to Reddit to praise the reality star’s progress, and many said they were pleased to see she continues to shed the pounds
The days that followed were filled with many ups and downs for Tammy and her family as medical experts told the reality star’s family that she may not survive.
The horrific ordeal was featured in the reality TV series Season 3 finale, with Tammy’s sister Amanda telling the cameras, “They’re just telling us her lungs have given out and her body is shutting down.
“So at this point, we’re about to have my little sister’s funeral […] She’s been in such a bad place for so long.
“She’s waited too long. And now that she has the courage to step out and get the help she needs, now this.’
Around the time she left the food rehab facility last December, she had her tracheotomy removed and her health appears to have improved since.
