The movie “Blue Beetle” won the first trailer this Monday (3) starring Bruna Marquezine and Xolo Maridueña. See below.
The film, slated for release in Brazil on August 17, 2023, tells the story of a young man (Maridueña) who finds an alien artifact (or magic, origin may vary) that gives him control of a superpowered suit of armor.

Before that, he had gone through other TV roles. His career began in 2011 and his first prominent role was on the series Parenthood, which he joined in its third season.

Bruna Marquezine and American actor Xolo Maridueña made a surprise appearance at the Thunder Stage organized by DC Comics. The two interpret the protagonists of “Besouro Azul”, one of the forthcoming adaptations of the publisher’s comics.
Of Mexican, Cuban and Ecuadorian descent, Maridueña will play DC’s first Latino character to win his own film. In “Besouro Azul” he plays Jaime Reyes, the third person to take the hero’s name.
