The British monarchy’s website on Monday (8) published the official photos of Charles III and the royal family after the coronation ceremony, which took place on Saturday.

The session photographer was Hugo Burnand and the pictures were taken in the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace shortly after the coronation.

Charles thanked the singers performing at a coronation concert at Windsor Castle for the “great gift” after a long weekend of celebrations.
Amid the pomp, Charles and his wife Camilla were crowned at London’s Westminster Abbey on Saturday in Britain’s biggest ceremonial event in 70 years.
Sunday’s celebrations culminated in the ‘Coronation Concert’, featuring singers including Lionel Richie and Katy Perry, as the royals joined an audience of 20,000 at Windsor Royal Palace in west London.
In a surprise postshow comedy skit, Charles and Camilla interrupted Richie and Perry as they shared their experiences of the weekend on the TV show American Idol, on which the singers are judges.
Charles asked Richie if the singers would be there “all night”, referring to one of Richie’s hits.
“Thank you for your brilliant performance and Katy it was wonderful, it really was. Such a gift to have you both here,” Charles said.
After a weekend of parties and celebrations on the streets, thousands of organizations are coming together for a volunteer program on Monday, a UK public holiday due to the coronation.
Charles’ son William and his wife Kate took part in The Big Help Out by taking their children to a Boy Scout troop in Slough near Windsor. Kate is President of the Boy Scouts Association.
