For the first time since the brutal attack that killed him in March while exiting a hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Rick Allen In an interview with Good Morning America, he referred to the bad experiences he had had.

According to the TMZ portal, a woman noticed the attack and came to the musician’s aid, but she was also a victim of the attacker, who hit her several times and left her on the ground.
“I heard a few footsteps and then I saw some kind of dark flash. And the next thing I knew I was on the floor“, he claimed everyone on Good Morning America. Other leads from the media reported that the attacker began beating cars in the parking lot at another hotel a few meters away.
In other statements, the Def Leppard drummer mentioned that he never saw the 19-year-old as a threat as he didn’t know who he was and thought he was a euphoric fan. He also admitted that he was giving up prepared for this attack as the trauma left by the accident in 1984, when he lost his arm almost 40 years ago, was worse.
Accompanied by his wife, he revealed how his recovery is progressing in an interview with Good Morning America.
“I immediately felt transported to this place I am thankful that I have a great wife and family. “I started to thank a higher power that I’m still here,” the drummer said of the days after he was attacked.
For his part Lauren Monroe, who was also present on the TV show revealed that she too was affected by the attack on her husband. It should be noted that the couple established a foundation in 2001 to help people who have survived this type of trauma, with a focus on veterans and first responders.
