Festival d’été de Québec: It’s Patrice Michaud’s turn to cancel his concert – Le Journal de Québec

The festival of cancellations continues: After the names of Lil Durk, Christine and the Queens and Vance Joy had to be removed from the program, the summer festival now has to do without Patrice Michaud, who is canceling his entire summer tour for health reasons.

“We had a great show ahead of us and had every intention of having fun with the audience this summer. Unfortunately, due to medical reasons, I have to stop all my activities now and for the next few weeks. Nothing serious, but this situation needs to be addressed immediately, which means the cancellation of my summer tour. It’s an extremely difficult but necessary decision,” said the Quebec artist, who said he was “sincerely sorry” in a message published Saturday afternoon.

Patrice Michaud therefore has to do without his concerts planned for the Festif! in Baie-Saint-Paul, at the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée and at the International Hot Air Balloon Festival in Saint-Jean-sur-le-Richelieu.

Fletcher relieved

It is the American pop singer Fletcher who will take her place in the program on Sunday evening at the Parc de la Francophonie. The 29-year-old artist will take the stage at 9:15 p.m., following performances by Jonathan Roy, Dominique Fils-Aimé, Lysandre, Caroline Savoie and Bonanza.
