Kate shines in emerald green as she takes the kids to Wimbledon

The Prince and Princess of Wales took the family to SW19 when they arrived at the All England Club for the Wimbledon men’s final.

Princess Kate, 41, looked effortlessly elegant in an emerald green Roland Mouret dress costing £750 as she arrived on the bridge at the All England Lawn, Tennis and Croquet Club in glorious sunshine.

As she entered the club, she watched over Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, eight, who had joined her for the day, while her father Prince William, 41, followed.

Ahead of the men’s final between Serbian Novak Djokovic and Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, the family met up with hard-working ball boys and girls – and Princess Charlotte was even lucky enough to cause a stir for police dog Stella.

On her very first visit to the Wimbledon Championships, Charlotte also chatted with Mu’awwiz Anwar, who does the pre-match coin toss.

Kate’s emerald outfit was complemented with emerald teardrop earrings and the same bow she wore on her chest yesterday, in shades of Wimbledon emerald and amethyst.

Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte looked regal in a blue summer dress, while her brother Prince George was the spitting image of his father in a navy suit and tie.

However, when the Welsh family walked across the bridge, it appeared to be a little windswept, with Kate and Charlotte’s thick brunette locks blowing in the breeze.

The mother-of-three, who has featured twice at Wimbledon this season, seemed excited to watch the final of the game she loved so much.

The princess – who has been patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club since 2016 – was there to watch the men’s final – a match of ‘old versus young’ and ‘legend versus successor’.

Novak Djokovic plays Carlos Alcaraz – who hopes to overthrow the legend. Djokovic is a seven-time Wimbledon winner and is aiming for a record-breaking eighth place finish.

But despite suffering from crippling nerves at times, such as at the French Open this year, Alcaraz said: ‘It’s a final, no time to be afraid.’ I’ll try and see what happens.’

Either way, it’s going to be an exciting match that Kate will no doubt enjoy.

She wore elegant outfits all week long and was fascinated by the sport she loves so much.

On Saturday, she wore a £420 lime green selfie dress as she shook hands with the ball boys and girls at the women’s singles final.

She then appeared enthralled with tennis before presenting the winner’s trophy to the emotional Marketa Vondrousova, 24.

When the Princess arrived to watch Ons Jabeur of Tunisia take on Vondrousova of the Czech Republic to win the Venus Rosewater Dish, the enthusiastic sports fan beamed and waved to the crowd from the terrace below.

The stakes were high for both players as left-hander Jabeur hoped to become the first African to win a Grand Slam, while Vondrousova made history as the first unseeded player to ever make it to the Wimbledon final in the Open era.

A year ago, world number six Jabeur became the first North African, first Arab and first Muslim to reach a Grand Slam final.

Kate later comforted Jabeur before congratulating Vondrousova, who told her interviewer after the game that she plans to celebrate with a beer and another tattoo.

As the game began, the princess could be seen chatting to former tennis stars Billie Jean King and Martina Navratilova.

She then entertained throughout the game by cheering, applauding and grinning as the unseeded Czech became the first unseeded Grand Slam champion ever.

Earlier in the week, she looked dapper as she wore a sleek white pleated skirt and a £1,950 mint green Balmain blazer.

She wore her hair in loose waves over her shoulders and opted for neutral makeup with a touch of eyeliner and a touch of blush.

Meanwhile, she kept her jewelry simple, with a pearl bracelet and chunky Knot baroque pearl earrings from Shyla, worth £72.

Kate’s choice of Balmain for her outfit was the first time the royal has been spotted at the French label. Celebrity fans of the fashion house include Cara Delevingne and Kim Kardashian.

During the outing, Kate was friendly as she welcomed close friend Roger Federer to a special ceremony at Wimbledon.

She was among those who gave enthusiastic applause as Federer, 41, was honored for his outstanding sporting achievements on Center Court after retiring from football last year.

Upon arrival, the princess chatted to the ball boys and girls present at the tournament, who looked impressed as if they were about to meet royalty, but all remained professional.

Kate, 41, praised a Wimbledon maintenance manager for fixing a leak at the Court One store just a day before the championship began, before settling down alongside the likes of Emma Waton and Dame Maggie Smith to watch the game.

The princess braved strong winds to visit the All Lawn and Tennis Club, of which she is patron, while tournament organizers last night issued a weather warning to participants.
