Cookies from American company Trader Joe’s are subject to a recall after stones, which usually contain chocolate chips and almonds, were found in recipes.
“If you have purchased almond and/or dark chocolate almond flake windmill biscuits, please do not eat them. We invite you to dispose of the product or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund,” the company said in a statement Friday, reported by multiple American media outlets.

So it looks like stones slipped into the cookie dough of the two recipes for the cookie batches that expire between October 17th and 21st, 2023.
This isn’t the first time the company’s products have been recalled: Earlier this year, in March, the company had to recall frozen fruit sold at some Costco stores in our southern neighbors that may have been contaminated with hepatitis A, NBC News reported.
