A renegade ex-NBA employee decided to take his frustration out to the world via the league’s Facebook account.
The unidentified former social media worker was upset with the terms and demands of his old job and made the announcement after retaining access to the league’s social media profiles.
“How do I unsubscribe from this?” the post began. “I haven’t worked here in weeks.”
“Anyway, the NBA is overdoing it.” [sic] “At less than $50,000 a year after tax, social media workers are taking a heavy toll on their health and social life.”
The post was deleted from the team’s social media account after about 20 minutes and the league did not leave a statement immediately afterwards.

This disgruntled former employee also took aim at the league’s commissioner, saying, ‘I’ve been working 14-hour shifts at times with no breaks.’ Regards, Adam Silver.’
They went on and said, “We don’t get health insurance until we’re 90 days on the job!” That’s silly, isn’t it?
“I’m glad I resigned. There’s no need to have a job standing in the way of your happiness.’ Donate to mental health causes.’
