This is the Four Seasons at The Surf Club, the famous luxury hotel in Surfside, voted one of the best hotels in the world for the second year in a row.
This glamorous property was ranked 28th out of 100 hotels in the 2023 Readers’ Choice Awards. A result that also made it the best hotel in Florida, without including Miami.
However, this wasn’t the only accolade for Four Seasons at The Surf Club; It also received Forbes’ Five Stars Award in 2023.
Additionally, it was named Best Resort in Greater Miami Beach at Travel Leisure’s 2023 World Best Awards.
The best hotel in the world according to voters is the Colony Palms Hotel in Palm Springs, California. There is now only one other hotel in Florida on the list (Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach in the Panhandle).
However, there are many other locations that appear as highlights in the 2023 awards categories. With that in mind, among the best spa resorts in the United States, there’s only one in Florida on the Condé Nast Traveler list.
This is the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort in Miami Beach, a Forbes four-star resort with a four-star spa.
This complex also includes an elegant restaurant (The Tambourine Room by Tristan Brand), which was awarded a Michelin star in 2023.
But what are the best hotels in the Florida Keys?
The award for best hotel in the Florida Keys went to the Marker Harbor Resort in Key West.
However, when we talk about a list of 10 outstanding resorts, names like: Playa Largo Resort & Spa or Autograph Collection in Key Largo come up.
These hotels are joined by Southernmost Beach Resort in Key West and Baker’s Cay Resort Key Largo Curio Collection by Hilton in Key Largo.
Bungalows Key Largo and Little Palm Island Resort & Spa continue the list of 10. The latter was named the best resort in Florida by Travel Leisure readers in early 2023.
These are followed by the Ocean Key Resort & Spa in Key West; the Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada; and the Isla Bella Beach Resort in Marathon. Finally, Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort in Marathon completes the list.
