Married at First Sight Laura from the UK suggests a future with husband Arthur as she teases her Christmas plans

Married at First Sight Laura Vaughan from the UK has hinted that she is still in a relationship with husband Arthur Poremba.

The 34-year-old financial manager was matched with the Polish tennis coach, also 34, in the opening episode of season eight.

The couple got off to a rocky start after Laura complained that Arthur wasn’t her type and said she felt let down.

She insisted her “very strict criteria were not met” while later saying in an on-camera post that Arthur wasn’t as “posh” as her usual type.

Laura explained: “He’s definitely an attractive guy.” But he doesn’t look like a Chelsea boy. I love a posh accent. “Very strict criteria were not met.”

She was also upset by Arthur’s decision to source his vows directly from the internet, claiming his English wasn’t good enough for him to write them himself.

However, the couple managed to resolve their issues and work on their marriage together.

Although all couples on the show are under strict instructions from producers to keep the outcome of their marital experiments secret, Laura has dropped an important hint about her and Arthur’s relationship.

In conversation with OK! magazine, she teased that the couple was still going strong as she shared her Christmas plans.

She said she hoped to visit Arthur’s home country of Poland to experience his culture and spend their first Christmas together.

Laura said: “We talked about going to Poland and just immersing myself in the first 15 to 16 years of his life.”

“I think it would be nice and cozy and the weather would be cold and there might be some snow – I think that would be cool.”

She added: “And then maybe come back and have a traditional Christmas market.”

It came after Laura burst into tears after fellow contestant Luke Worley accused her of being a gold digger.

Laura silenced him and said, “I’ve never needed a man to pay for anything in my life.” It was damn painful to hear that I had actually been used for this myself in the past.

“I actually paid for my last wedding. So if I’m a gold digger, then I’m definitely doing something wrong.”

Speaking to the Experts about the comments, she said: “I just think it’s really lazy to call a woman a gold digger. “I find it insulting and I feel like I’m taking a lot of heat from Luke.

“Financial things are very important to me because I inherited my money from my father.” My father is no longer with me. That’s why it’s so disturbing to be accused of looking for money from another man.

“It’s just a lazy narrative to call a woman who is strong and intelligent and speaks a certain way ‘snooty’ and that bores me.” “I’m bored of having to prove people wrong, just because I talk.”
