A man walking his dog through the streets of Leamington, England, kicked a cat, which died a few days later.
Lenny, who was used to walking on the street, looked at an older man accompanied by his German Shepherd before receiving a violent kick that sent him flying.
“At first I was stunned. I said to myself: How can we do something like this? The images shocked many people on our street. Lenny didn’t even care about the people walking their dogs in the neighborhood.
“This man had no reason to do something like that because Lenny didn’t even want to visit that dog. “He’s so used to people passing by,” the cat’s owner told the Chron, which was picked up by media outlet 7Sur7 on Monday.
After the incident, the cat stayed at home most of the time, although he was used to spending more time outside, while his health visibly deteriorated, according to the British tabloid.
“After he got the shot, we saw something change in him. “He slowed down and wasn’t himself anymore,” said the cat’s owner, who did not survive the violent kick.
