Karl Tremblay’s wife and member of the Cowboys Fringants, Marie-Annick Lépine, posted a touching message on her Facebook page on Friday afternoon.

“They will live on through our daughters. They inherited a lot from you,” she wrote in the caption to a sunset photo that accompanied the Cowboys singer’s death.
She goes on to cite her daughters’ reactions to their father’s death.
“Our beautiful Simone said: ‘Papa has already gone up to heaven to greet us!’ And our little Pauline replied: “If Godfather Jean-François had died, his star would certainly not have already come, because he always comes too late!”
“I know you’re laughing right now. You are wonderful. Don’t worry, I’ll take care of it.”
Karl Tremblay died of prostate cancer on Wednesday evening at the age of 47.
