The viewers of Hello DarwinAt the end of the first episode, broadcast last night on Canale 5, we were surprised by a sad announcement: Emilio Contaldo – historical competitor to the broadcast of Paolo Bonolis – died this summer after recording. The Mediaset broadcast wanted to pay tribute to him with a message that read: “Emilio Contaldo has left us after having a great party with us.” Thank you for your naive folly.
Paolo Bonolis and Silvia Toffanin, the (embarrassing) question to Verissimo: “Are you still making love to your husband?”
Who was Emilio Contaldo?
The 58-year-old man from San Marzano sul Sarno (Salerno) had already taken part in Ciao Darwin in 2007 and 2010 and created some nice gags with the presenter Bonolis. In the episode that aired yesterday, he acted as an “envoy” on behalf of Luca Laurentiand even held a curtain call with him in the final part of the show.
Death
According to Positano News, Contaldo died on July 21 from complications of a heart attack. He had recently finished recording the episodes of the new edition of Ciao Darwin. In the village he was affectionately known as “Meliuccio o’ Scarraffcchio”.
