Adam Copeland soundly defeated Christian Cage at AEW Worlds End for the TNT Championship (PPV results here), but his reign didn't last very long.
In fact, Adam Copeland managed to send Nick Wayne through a burning table at ringside and defeated Christian with his own killswitch finisher. Unfortunately, Copeland is the shortest reigning TNT Champion in AEW history, as Killswitch showed up just minutes later with his contract for a TNT Championship match won at Zero Hour of Worlds End.
Killswitch attacked Copeland and wanted to cash in his contract for the match, but Christian Cage ordered him to surrender the contract. So it was Christian who finally signed the contract and defeated Copeland with a spear.
Look who's here to cash in their TNT title shot!!!

Adam Copeland was absent from the post-PPV press conference so it's difficult to get his comments, but this morning he commented on the event for the first time on his Instagram account. He wrote the following:
“And new champion…until I'm no longer.” “Unlike this photo, last night didn't go as planned.”
Apparently, the story between Adam Copeland and Christian Cage is not over yet after this new deception from Christian. You'll have to watch the next AEW shows to find out the rest of the plot.
