Dancing On Ice's Hannah Spearritt makes cryptic comment about Rachel Stevens amid 'feud' as she 'will be'. "kept separate" at live shows

Hannah Spearritt has made a cryptic comment about her former S Club bandmate Rachael Stevens, claiming there is a feud between the two.

The 42-year-old singer is preparing to take part in Dancing On Ice in 2024, while Rachel, 45, is expected to be in the studio audience to support her boyfriend and professional skater Brendyn Hatfield.

Bosses are said to be having difficulties on set due to a “feud” between the former bandmates after it was claimed Hannah was no longer communicating with the rest of S Club following her departure.

Now Hannah has fueled feud rumors by making a cryptic comment about Rachel, who competed with Brendyn on Dancing On Ice last year, on Thursday's episode of Lorraine.

Chatting on the ice during rehearsals, Ria Hebden asked Hannah if she had asked former Dancing On Ice star Rachel for “advice” ahead of the show's start on January 14.

However, Hannah brushed off the comment and simply said, “I know it sounds selfish, but I'm just focused on myself.”

Rachel dated her current boyfriend Brendyn on the show last year, but they were one of the first couples to be eliminated, leaving the competition in Week 4.

She took to Instagram with the figure skating pro in November and is expected to be in the audience to cheer him on as he is paired with comedian Lou Sanders on this year's show.

Last week, Rachel gave a rare glimpse into her relationship with Brendyn when she wished him a happy birthday in a gushing post.

While packing on the PDA, she shared a photo and wrote, “Happy birthday to this most kind, loving and beautiful soul. 'I love you.'

This comes after it was claimed that Dancing On Ice producers were planning to keep Hannah and Rachel apart on the show despite their alleged feud, The Sun reported.

A source said: “The fall onto the ice will feel warm and painless compared to the cold front that will envelope Dancing On Ice if their paths cross.”

“The best hope is that Hannah and Rachel stay apart. But considering the series lasts two months and both could be in the studio at the same time, that won't be easy.”

Hannah reportedly stopped speaking to the rest of S Club in July and “contacted lawyers” after she left the group following the shocking death of her former friend and bandmate Paul Cattermole.

After Hannah's departure, the remaining members – Rachel, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh and Tina Barrett – decided to simply rename S Club 7 to S Club and continue as a five-piece.

In a video posted to Instagram last year, Jon said: “You've probably noticed that there are only five of us here today and although Hannah will always be part of S Club 7, she will not be joining us on this tour .'We wish her all the best for the future.'

After leaving the S Club tour, Hannah said that “everything” changed for her following Paul's death, admitting she had “crippling panic attacks” before quitting.

In October she told The Sun: “Will I ever perform with them again? “I just don't know, I'm glad the tour is still going on and the songs are living on, but now I'm looking forward, not backwards.”

She also shared that she had suffered from “debilitating panic attacks” before canceling the tour and said that her health at the time was suffering due to an autoimmune disease.

“I haven't been in the best health – I have a weakened immune system and stress makes it worse,” she continued.

“My body just couldn't handle everything that was happening.” “I wasn't myself, I was having these debilitating panic attacks, suffering from really bad dizziness and being tired all the time.”

Hannah said her health condition was affecting her children – Tea, four, and Tora, two, who she shares with Adam Thomas – because she had no energy to do anything with them.

She explained that after Paul's death she realized she wouldn't be able to rejoin S Club for the tour, admitting that it “just didn't feel right.”

Hannah claimed she hasn't been in contact with her former bandmates since leaving the band and admitted she was sad about it, but stressed she wished them “all the best”.

Hannah and Paul had been together since 2001 before splitting in 2006. The two rekindled their romance in 2015 before finally going their separate ways just a few months later.
