A poll published this Monday (January 15, 2024) with the approval of 15 Argentine politicians showed that Javier Milei, the country's current president, is approved by 58% of the population. Argentina's former president, Cristina Kirchner, tops the image disapproval ranking for 67% of respondents. The information comes from Clarin.
After Milei, his vice president, Victoria Villarruel, is the politician with the highest approval rating. 53% of the country enjoys her high regard, while 35% disapprove. The former governor of the province of Córdoba, Juan Schiaretti, is third on the list with 48% approval and 33% disapproval.
Among the Argentine politicians with the highest level of image disapproval is former President Cristina Kirchner, who is disapproved by 67% and approved by 30%. Next comes former minister Sergio Massa (66% disapproval and 31% approval). Former President Mauricio Macri is opposed by 65% and approved by 32%.
The research was carried out in December 2023 and January 2024 by the consulting firm Opinaia and surveyed 1,200 people across Argentine territory. The survey has a margin of error of plus or minus 3%. The company responsible for the investigation was among those who best predicted the outcome of Argentina's 2023 elections.
