Lorraine Kelly has told how her husband of 32 years, Steve Smith, regularly checks her breasts for lumps.
The 64-year-old TV presenter, who married cameraman Steve in 1992, joked that the act made him a “selfless” man.
Lorraine admitted that she is “very picky about mammograms” and that she knows that “all boobies are different,” but when it comes to a thorough exam, she asks her husband for help.
The Scottish star, who fronts the Change and Check campaign, which has helped women get an early breast cancer diagnosis – potentially saving their lives – said: “Steve checks mine regularly… selfless, he is.” Selfless! '
She added, “But that's great.” He probably knows her better than I do. “The same goes for women and men who are being screened for testicular cancer.”

The Change and Check campaign, launched in 2019 to show women how to check themselves for signs of breast cancer, was supported by Lorraine's friend and producer Helen Addis, who was diagnosed at the age of 39 .
Hundreds of locker rooms across the country have posters and stickers showing what signs to look out for.
Writing for Web at the time of publication, Lorraine said: “The stickers show a series of images highlighting the warning signs of breast cancer.”
“There could be lumps in the breast or under the armpit, or other signs such as discharge or bleeding from the nipple, swelling or a change in the shape of the breast or nipple, wrinkles or dimples on the skin, unusual pain, or a rash on the breast. '
She added: “Of course our breasts are all different.” What's normal for you may not be normal for me.
Having previously said her sex life was “going well”, and with Valentine's Day just around the corner, Lorraine revealed what a lovely evening it would be.
She told Weight Watchers: “There's nothing better than a relaxing evening with the person you love.”
She continued: “Valentine's dinner is something special and a little more indulgent.” Something classic, like a steak with red wine, is a wonderful thing for Valentine's Day and Steve is obviously thrilled with such a choice!
Lorraine added that “remembering things the other person likes” is always a nice gesture to show how much you care.

“I'm not one for grand gestures, but I love it when Steve cooks for me and we can have a quiet evening together.”
“Treat yourself to little treats together.” For me, sleep is one of the most enjoyable things in my job.
