“There is so much to take in, but there are no better hands with more care and love than Denis,” she said.

The actor then expressed that it is solely up to Villeneuve to make important decisions about the future of the Dune franchise.

“I know he's a perfectionist in many ways and doesn't want to share anything unless he's ready.” So [I’m] “I respect that and wait until he’s ready,” she said.

Zendaya made her debut as Chani in Dune: Part One, released in 2021.
