Impact on Users: Users may have encountered several issues with their Microsoft Teams.
Additional information: Affected scenarios included, but were not limited to, the following:
– Users who log in or unlock their devices after some time may have received missing messages.
– Users may not be able to load messages in channels and chats.
– Users could not view or download their media (images, videos, audio, call recordings, code snippets).
– Some users experienced delays in sending and receiving chat messages.
– Anonymous users may not have been able to join meetings.
– Errors occurred in the Teams connectors for Power Automate/Power Apps.
– Call recordings may take longer to appear in the user's OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online.
– Users may not have been able to load the previous Copilot history or new history was not written
– Bots may not have been able to download attachments
– Sending and receiving read receipt notifications may be delayed
– Users may have trouble resuming or rejoining meetings.
– Users in organizations that use an information barrier may have problems joining meetings
– Users who performed a cold boot might not be able to log in to Teams and saw an “Oops” page
Final Status: After prolonged monitoring and various optimization and remediation actions, we have confirmed that our Microsoft Teams service and its features have been restored or returned to optimal status.
