Son probably killed his parents and himself

The brother of the alleged perpetrator of the crime found the dead in their parents' house. They all had stab wounds.

The background to the terrible event in Villingen-Schwenningen in the Black Forest is still unclear. A 27-year-old man found his parents and brother dead in his parents' home on Friday. They all had stab wounds. “According to initial investigations, there are indications that the son first killed his parents and then himself,” police said in a statement.

A spokesperson initially did not comment on the possible scenario on Saturday. The investigation was ongoing. According to police, the 27-year-old returned home on Friday afternoon, where he discovered his relatives dead on the ground floor of the single-family home. The 32-year-old brother was in a different room to his mother and father, police spokesman Jörg-Dieter Kluge said. The police found a knife on him. This is probably the murder weapon.

The parents were therefore 57 and 62 years old. Both children are registered at their parents' home address, Kluge said. However, the 27-year-old also has a second home. A forensic team obtained evidence late into the night. According to police, measures at the crime scene were completed that night.
