This is the moment a “drunk and abusive” man is held by four passengers on board an eight-hour flight.
The incident occurred on January 30 on a JetBlue flight from Gatwick Airport to New York JFK.
The video showed a group of Brits stepping in to help airline staff calm the man and struggling to restrain him.
One could be seen holding him in a headlock, but the allegedly drunk passenger was able to free himself.
A woman, dressed in gray sweatpants and a black T-shirt, asked the passenger who was holding him to remove his finger from near the man's eye.
She said, “Please get that out of his face,” to which he replied, “I can’t just leave him.”

She added: “No, no, no, listen, don't tell me to stop.” A fellow passenger told the woman to “turn back now.”
Then she said, “Ben, Ben Stop fighting them.” “Stop fighting them,” as the four hero customers try to hold him back.
The clip then showed the group standing in the narrow aisle and sitting on the seats while other passengers recorded the footage on their cell phones.
As the man tried to get away from them, one said, “Put him down.” The woman said, “No,” and then started sobbing.

One passenger said, “Jesus Christ,” while another exclaimed, “What the fuck.”
Another man appeared to be trying to calm someone down, saying, “Don't worry, I'm here.”
Witness Grant Saunders, who works as a hypnotist, was on board the plane and said: “The men from the back of the plane came down to help.”
“They eventually threw him to the ground.” I felt sorry for the elderly couples who were sitting where it happened.
When the boys left they got a lot of applause.”
Mr Saunders claimed the man “got drunk and became loud and aggressive” while moving around in other seats on the flight.
“When the crew then asked him to calm down, he continued to get worse,” he continued.

The flight departed Gatwick at 11:55am and arrived promptly at 8:16pm GMT on Tuesday.
Another passenger named Nick said: “They managed to detain him and prevent the flight from being diverted, causing significant disruption to passengers and crew.”
“Thanks to their brave and brilliant efforts, the flight landed without further incident.”
“They have to be recognized by the airline.”
