Long Island Liar George Santos took to social media to lambast Republicans for losing a seat vacated when he was expelled from Congress.
Democrat Tom Suozzi succeeded the disgraced ex-congressman in Tuesday night's special election, ousting Republican Mazi Pilip to represent New York's 3rd Congressional District.
As the votes were counted, Santos fired off a series of tweets to express his frustration.
“-1,” the former US representative tweeted as it became clear that the Democrats would win another seat in the House of Representatives.
He took shots at Congressmen Anthony D'Esposito and Nick LaLota, who had tried to win support for Pilip during the election campaign.

“Hey, Americans! Please thank these two gems for losing a seat in the house today!' Santos wrote above a photo of the two men that was originally posted to D'Esposito's account.
He also called on the chairman of the Nassau County Republican Committee to resign following the defeat.
Three days before the crucial special election, Santos seemed to have his mind elsewhere.
He live-tweeted his reactions to Usher's halftime performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday night, commenting each time a different artist arrived.
“Luda is in the MOFO house!” Santos wrote. “Lil Jon's in the house! Holy shit!”
His successor, Suozzi, recaptured a seat in the 3rd Congressional District, which he held for three terms before an unsuccessful run for governor.
Citing his record as a legislator, Suozzi campaigned on promises to protect the environment, care for veterans and ensure access to reproductive health care.
He was mayor of Glen Cove, a small town on Long Island, before rising to Nassau County Executive. Suozzi was elected to the House of Representatives in 2016, 2018 and 2020.

Santos lost the seat in New York's 3rd Congressional District after 311 Democrats and 114 Republicans voted him out in December
His successor, Suozzi, has a long history of success as a legislator, including holding the very seat he reclaimed in the special election
Santos mocked the Democrat online before it became clear that Suozzi would claim his seat.
“Looking at the #NY3 debate and Tom Suozzi, it sounds angry and pompous,” Santos wrote on February 8. “Bye Tom.”
Pilip, a mother of seven, was re-elected to the Nassau County Legislature in 2021 and 2023.
She was born in Ethiopia, moved to Israel and served in the Israel Defense Forces before coming to the United States. Support for Israel and opposition to illegal immigration were at the heart of her election campaign.
“Mazi needs to increase her ladies’ votes to 46-48% to pull this off,” Santos tweeted as the prospect of her defeat loomed.
He was voted out of Congress in December when he was confronted with his extensive history of lies and faced multiple criminal charges, including laundering campaign funds and defrauding donors.
Over 100 Republicans joined Democrats in ousting the serial fabulist, a final tally of 311-114.
Santos stormed out of the House of Representatives minutes before the vote concluded, warning reporters that the House was “setting a new dangerous precedent for itself.”

Santos mocked Suozzi on X, formerly Twitter, calling him “angry and pompous” a week before his victory.
Suozzi was elected to the House of Representatives in 2016, 2018 and 2020, but left the House only to unsuccessfully run for governor
His lies were laid out in great detail in a report by the U.S. House of Representatives Ethics Committee. This includes making family connections to the Holocaust and claiming that his mother died on 9/11.
Santos has pleaded not guilty in federal court to 23 counts, including identity theft, charging his donors' credit cards without their consent and submitting false campaign reports. He is not expected to go on trial until September next year.
According to the House Ethics Committee, Santos “attempted to fraudulently exploit every aspect of his candidacy for the House of Representatives to achieve his personal financial gain.”
The damning report accuses him of diverting campaign funds to pay for Botox treatments, designer bags, OnlyFans purchases and cash withdrawals at a casino.
The Republican used $3,000 in campaign funds for an Airbnb in the Hamptons, while another transfer of several thousand dollars to his company was spent on luxury goods and rent from Ferragamo.
Santos is also accused of inflating six personal loans to his campaign by claiming they were worth $80,000 when they were only $3,500.
The other lies he told spanned almost every aspect of his life – including his Jewish and Ukrainian heritage and surviving a brain tumor.
