This significant drop in temperature will therefore take effect this Tuesday, but according to Environment Canada's forecasts, it won't take long for the mercury to rise like a game of yo-yo for the rest of the week.
Skies will be clear in most parts of the province, allowing generally sunny weather, while it could be cloudy until Abitibi-Témiscamingue in the afternoon.
In Montreal, the thermometer predicts temperatures of minus 6 degrees, but the wind chill will have its effect with values of minus 20, especially in the morning.
According to the federal agency, the same scenario is expected in the center of the province, with temperatures of minus 8 degrees with clear skies and a stronger influence of wind, as is the case in Saguenay.
Temperatures will be even colder, possibly dropping to minus 13 degrees in certain areas of eastern Quebec, where the weather will be generally sunny with heavier clouds in places.
Good spring weather awaits Quebecers on Wednesday, with generous sunshine almost everywhere and a spectacular rise in the mercury as positive temperatures are forecast in certain areas.
