After ten months and numerous disagreements, actor Kevin Costner and his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner have finally formalized their divorce.
The split was officially announced on February 16, according to documents obtained by People magazine.
This saga began last May when Ms. Baumgartner filed for divorce from the Yellowstone actor after 18 years of living together.
The latter initially demanded $336,000 a month in maintenance, then lowered her demand to $237,000, while Kevin Costner maintained his offer at $80,000 a month. A judge ultimately ruled that the actor paid his ex-wife $85,000 a month. The couple has three children aged 16, 15 and 13.
During this public divorce, it was also revealed that Costner and Baumgartner disagreed over who should keep the house and everything in it. An amicable agreement was finally reached between the two parties in September.
