The war between independent drug traffickers and the Hells Angels could be the reason for another kidnapping, this time in Saguenay.
The Saguenay Police Service (SPS) announced on Wednesday evening the disappearance of 28-year-old Michael Chouinard.
“The police have reason to fear for his safety,” the SPS said in a statement.

According to information from our Bureau of Investigation, investigators believe that Chouinard may have been kidnapped.
They believe that his disappearance is linked to organized crime and the war waged for several months by a group of independent human traffickers and the Hells Angels, which the SPS did not want to confirm.
The missing man's mother, Melany Chouinard, posted a cry for help on social networks. “I share his photo with you and share everything,” she said on Facebook.
