Joaquim, 35, entered the top model's life in 2020 as a selfdefense instructor for herself and her children. At that time, they starred together in a fashion editorial in which the Brazilian highlighted the importance of martial arts in her life. Since then, much has been said about Joaquim's professional qualities as a JiuJitsu instructor, but this is not the Brazilian's only specialty.
Among the selfdefense techniques he teaches, there is also an aspect of using firearms. Joaquim offers special courses with shooting technicians in vehicles (e.g. as a hideout). On the official website he offers a 6h30 training session. In 2021 the course costs $300. And another course on handling and caring for weapons at home is offered.

Joaquim is the son of plastic surgeon Pedro Valente and comes from a family that has been investing in JiuJitsu since the 1950s, when his ancestors began training with the Gracie family. In 2007, he moved to Miami to study criminology at Barry University. By this time, older brothers Pedro and Guilhreme had already moved to the United States and were making a living teaching jiujitsu. Joaquim soon specialized and received permission to also give courses and complement the Valente Brothers Academy.

Model talks about life after divorce
In addition to the martial arts curriculum, Joaquim and his brothers follow the principles of “Code 753,” created by the family based on the principles of JiuJitsu. It is a kind of “code of happiness,” they say, in which they divide seven principles for the mind, five foundations for the body and three for the spirit. The criteria speak of respect, courage, honesty, honor, loyalty, positivity and principles of a balanced, healthy diet.

He also performed for Portela at the Rio Carnival in 2018. It was reportedly his father Pedro's favorite school. His favorite team is also unclear, but judging by his past, Joaquim must be a Vasco fan, after all, his father was general vicepresident of the club.
