Buba's (Gabriela Medeiros) maternal instinct will go beyond all limits when she meets Teca (Livia Silva) in Renascer. After accidentally running over the girl, the manager takes her home and falls in love with her, without even suspecting that she is pregnant. “Faced with this fragile girl, Buba feels a maternal aspect blossoming within him,” Bruno Luperi wrote in the script given to the cast.
The collision will take place in Globo's nine o'clock soap opera from this Thursday's episode (22). Buba is nervous about being in an unknown place and talking on the phone with Venâncio (Rodrigo Simas), and in the end he won't see Teca drive past the car.
She will try to take the girl to the doctor, but Teca refuses to go there for fear of the police. Buba then offers accommodation at his house to treat the injuries from the fall, as the girl suggests she has nowhere to go.
After the care, Teca will say that she was looking for Du (José Duboc), the father of her child, without mentioning that she is pregnant. “Du Rodô, aunt… there's no point in even looking for it. Rodo. You lost it. And I lost him too!” he will scream.

Buba will defend Teca and incur even more anger from his lover. “I think you were the one who hit your head in that accident!” he will say.
Renascer was written and created by author Benedito Ruy Barbosa. The first version was broadcast on Globo in 1993. Bruno Luperi is the writer's grandson and is responsible for the adaptation of the rural saga, which premiered in prime time in January. The remake will air until September.
