Ricky Martin has expressed his feelings after being falsely accused of sexual abuse by his nephew.

Dennis Yadiel Sanchez Martin had claimed he and his uncle had a seven-month relationship before he filed for a protection order against the star. However, Ricky Martin, 52, has consistently denied the allegations, and the protective order was lifted after Dennis Martin, now 23, withdrew his complaint at a court hearing in 2022.
The judge said at the time: “There has never been more than one concerned person here making false accusations without any evidence to back them up.”
A moment that Ricky Martin experienced very badly. “It's the worst. “The most painful thing I've ever experienced,” the Livin' La Vida Loca singer told GQ magazine. Thank God it was for no reason.”
Dennis is the son of Ricky Martin's half-sister Vanessa Martin. The family affair did not end there. In September 2022, Ricky Martin filed a lawsuit against his nephew demanding $20 million and accusing him of extortion, malicious prosecution, abuse of rights, and damages based on false allegations of sexual abuse.
