“Les petits tannants”: Pierre Hébert responds to a recurring criticism of the show

On Friday, shortly before the broadcast of Petits Tannants, presenter Pierre Hébert shared a video on his social networks.

In particular, he responds to a recurring comment from viewers about the show. Many people argue that the question asked to the children in the final block, just before the winner is announced, should be the same for the three young contestants.

“I understand,” he said, “but that's not how it works in live action.” Sometimes we ask a child a question and they answer us something, and we ask the same question to another child who answers us: I don't know what I should answer. Of course, we don't force him to answer, so it was often impossible to ask a question that all three children would have an answer to. »

The comedian also answers a (relevant!) question he's asked regularly: Can single parents sign up for Les Petits tannants?

“Absolutely. The show is open to all families,” he explains. “If there is a father or mother who is a single parent and wants to sign up for the show, that person can do that. All he or she has to do is register with another Register an adult who knows the child well. It could be an uncle, an aunt, a grandpa, a grandma. It's really open to everyone.”

Note that we have actually never seen children accompanied by anyone other than their parents on the show.

Pierre Hébert also proudly mentions that no fewer than 765,000 viewers watched the show live last Friday. Excellent reviews, especially for a Friday night at 7pm.
