Kerry Katona is to have part of her rib removed and used to reconstruct her nose after it collapsed as a result of drug use.
The former Atomic Kitten star, 43, revealed in November that she was planning surgery to correct her nose and is now awaiting a date for the procedure.
Kerry, who has spoken openly about her past drug use and admitted her marriage to Mark Croft was “about cocaine”, will undergo the operation at North West Clinic Pall Mall.
Kerry wrote in her column with OK!: “I'm waiting for an appointment at Pall Mall for the reconstructive surgery I need on my nose due to my previous cocaine abuse.”
“They're going to use a piece of bone from my rib to repair it. Hopefully that will be the case one day now.”

The former Atomic Kitten star, 43, revealed in November that she was planning on having surgery to correct her nose and is now awaiting a surgery date (seen with Brian McFadden in 2001).
Fifteen years ago, she struggled heavily with addiction and told her fans in November, “I shouldn't be here.” I should be dead. “If it wasn’t for my kids, I probably would be.”
In her recent column, Kerry said of her drug history: “My past will always come up, but I wouldn't change it because it made me who I am today.”
“It’s not about how many times you fall, it’s about how many times you get back up.”
She added: “The only thing is I'm always snooping, my kids joke they can hear me in a shop before they see me!”
“I am not ashamed of my past, but I regret the embarrassment it has caused my children.”
Late last year, the TV personality took to Instagram to tell her followers that she visited the Pall Mall cosmetics store to inquire about an eye lift.
However, while she was there, the doctor asked her if she had ever had a nose job before revealing that internal damage from her previous drug use caused her nose to collapse.
The star revealed: “[The doctor] said, “Your nose is collapsing.” So I damaged my nose from drug use.'

Kerry has been open about her drug addiction and revealed that she had overdosed twice (pictured on This Morning in 2008 where she slurred her words due to her bipolar medication).
“I was offered to have it repaired years ago and I said no because it was a reminder to me never to touch it.” [drugs] again.
“So he said, 'Would you like us to fix it for you?' And I started crying because it's a huge 360 degree change from who I was to who I am now. And I think, wow, wow, ok, I'll get it fixed.
“Of course I'm not taking drugs anymore, I've turned my life around and I'm very proud of myself. “We all make mistakes and I think that's a reward for me, but I'm scared!”
Kerry went on to point out that saying someone has their ears covered doesn't get them hate, but other tweaks have resulted in her receiving a lot of negative comments.
She continued: “I cried because I did really well and I'm really proud of myself.”
Kerry confessed her cocaine addiction could have ended her life on more than one occasion after she overdosed twice.
The star also contemplated her bankruptcy and divorce, but has now gotten back on track and hasn't been broke in almost ten years.
