Actress and former beauty queen Jackie Loughery has died, the Miss Universe Organization has confirmed.
Loughery, who also worked as a model, was the first Miss United States and therefore the first participant from this country in the Miss Universe pageant.
This very organization announced the death of the 93-year-old former queen.
