Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll is not only good at ice hockey, he's also good at the piano.
In the latest edition of “Blue Room”, a video published on the Leafs' YouTube account, the 25-year-old athlete showed that he can handle the musical instrument very well, regardless of its size.

Woll also stood out on the piano last January during the gala organized by the Queen City organization. He had sung the theme song of the film “Interstellar”.
“When I was younger, our family bought a large grand piano,” Woll explained in the YouTube video. I tried taking piano lessons for a few months, but it wasn't really my thing. I wasn't good at reading music, so I gave that up and eventually learned to play by ear and by heart. That made me love the piano even more.”
The goalkeeper, who was injured last December, was also asked about the possibility of forming a music group with teammates Matthew Knies and Ryan Reaves. The first plays guitar while the second plays drums.
“I don’t know if we have a singer,” Woll said with a laugh. I heard [Mark Giordano] to sing. I don't think he would be the best. [Mitch Marner] It looks like he sings, but then again I don’t know if he would be the best.”
Woll was recently traded to the American League for conditioning purposes. During his only game in front of the Toronto Marlies' net, Friday against the Laval Rocket, he allowed just one goal on 37 shots as his team won 4-1 at Place Bell.
The Missouri native posted an 8-5-1 record, a .916 save percentage and a 2.80 goals-against average in the Bettman League this season.
