An industry insider revealed that producers considered bringing back former brides and grooms to give them a second chance at love, but rejected the idea.
“MAFS wanted to bring people back. “After 11 seasons, it wouldn’t be hard to implement the idea of a second chance for a select few,” they told Yahoo.
However, the proposal was rejected for a surprising reason: producers felt that viewers might not engage with recurring cast members looking for love again.
“We know that viewers would rather explore new storylines than bring a character they've already met back into the film.” “It wasn't strong enough to do a full series of returning brides and grooms,” they said .
