Grimes apparently accidentally revealed that she had her second child with Elon Musk.
In a new interview, the musician invited writer Devin Gordon to her home in Austin, Texas.
When the reporter heard the baby cry, they asked if Grimes had another child besides her one-year-old son named X Æ A-12, whom she shares with the tech billionaire.
“I’m not allowed to talk about these things,” Grimes, real name Claire Elise Boucher, told Vanity Fair. “Whatever happens to the family, I just feel that the kids should stay away from it and X is just around.
“I mean, I think A really sees him as his protégé and coerces him into everything and stuff… X there. His situation is this. But yeah, I don’t know.”
She then admitted that she and Musk recently welcomed a baby girl named Exa Dark Sideral Musk, who was born by a surrogate mother. The couple named the baby Y.
Grimes said her newborn baby girl had “colic” and was crying more than usual. “I don’t know what I was thinking,” she said of her decision to invite a journalist to her home.
It was reported last September that Grimes and Musk had broken up, but speaking about their relationship, Grimes told the publication, “There’s no real word for that. I would probably call him my boyfriend, but we are very mobile.”

She added: “We live in different houses. We are best friends. We see each other all the time … We just have our own affairs, and I don’t expect other people to understand this …
“This is the best thing ever…. We just need to be free… We always wanted at least three or four [children]”.
Following reports of her breakup with Musk in October, Grimes was photographed reading Karl Marx’s The Communist Manifesto.
Replying to fans who joked that she had returned to her “communist roots,” the artist said she “trolled” people with photos after the photographers following her “insisted on being stressed.”
“The paparazzi were chasing me on set so I tried to think of what I could do to get the most onion-like headline possible and it worked,” she tweeted at the time.
