Last month, Linda shared her excitement at finding her wedding dress, sharing a snap of herself at David’s Bridal in Stratford with the caption, “Our big day is approaching.”
While a representative for Sam confirmed to MailOnline: “The wedding is upon us – Sam and Linda are looking forward to a glorious day”.
The happy news comes six years after Samantha lost her beloved longtime friend Myra Stratton, of 12 years, to cancer.
Sam and Linda’s engagement was announced in March 2020. A source told The Sun at the time: “Sam and Linda are so happy together and want to spend the rest of their lives together. They are so in love and want to make it official.’

During the interview, Sam revealed that her “amazing pal” Motörhead lead singer Lemmy – who died in 2015 – offered to step in and walk her down the aisle after her father died.

Meanwhile, the happy couple were spotted at the Covent Garden flower market, collecting floral ideas for their big day with the help of celebrity florist Warren Bushaway of London Event Florist.

Sam explained: “I just believe that love is far greater than anything. You can’t help who you fall in love with.
“When you fall in love with someone, you fall in love with them. It’s not your fault, is it?’
Sam released a statement about her sexuality in 2003 – the year she began a relationship with Myra – after much speculation.
She said at the time: “I’ve slept with other women, but I wasn’t in love before Myra Stratton. People say I’m gay.
“All I know is that I’m in love with Myra [Stratton, my manager]. I love her more than anything and want to spend the rest of my life with her.’
Samantha added that she has refused to come out because she has already dealt with obsessed stalkers and feared the possible reactions from fans.
