By looking into the trials of the singer Simaria, the duo with Simone, with her exhusband, the Spaniard Vicente Escrig, the LeoDias column uncovered another case concerning the troubled end of the relationship. The singer went to court to prevent her exhusband from picking up their children from school after the man had a fight with the children’s nanny.
According to the lawsuit, the Spaniard attempted to visit his children in a “disorderly manner without the mother’s consent (Simaria), cause a riot at the children’s school doors and adopt violent behavior towards the nanny, thereby frightening the minors.”

After the incident and Simaria’s request, the São Paulo Court ruled that Vicente could no longer take the children to and from school. In addition, the court found that the Spaniard could not stay with his children during the visiting weekends as he had no fixed abode as he slept in his office without having adequate sleeping conditions for the children.
The document also includes a statement from the nanny: “Seu Vicente was standing at the door and started yelling at everyone, including in front of the children, saying that I was trying to prevent him from staying with them. I tried to speak to Seu Vicente, at least to find out where the boys were being taken, but he refused to answer me. I was quite afraid of Seu Vicente and afraid of his reaction. He knows I was there to do my job but he accused me and made a ruckus at school.”
The nanny also reports that the Spaniard stirred up conflict and intrigues with the children, causing them to return with fear of their father’s visits. In one such instance, the clerk reported that her youngest son, Pawel, skipped a birthday party because he was unhappy with the way his father had spoken about the family dog, nicknamed Sky.
“Pawel told me that he was very angry that Sky’s fur was cut and that he didn’t like it. I asked him why he didn’t go to his little friend Bento’s birthday party as I knew he would have gone to the party by then and he replied that he was angry because his father kept telling him things that made him angry to make someone angry . (…) he said to me ‘my father told me not to leave the dog in a diaper and that I should be angry about it’. Afterwards, Pawel reiterated that he was very angry with his father for constantly saying ‘things’ to him,” the nanny said in a statement that appears in the filing.
