Speaking to the podcast Primocast, comedian Whindersson Nunes revealed he managed to make his first million when he was 20. However, he only became aware of the height when his brother warned him.
“I was never put through to the number. It was my brother who said to me, ‘You’re officially a millionaire’. I opened the account and I saw it!” he said.
Whindersson, now 27, told the podcast that early in his career he played small shows and didn’t count his winnings. However, over time the fees increased and in six months he managed to raise a million reais.
I made my first million when I was 20. I saved some money. A larger volume started to come in, R$ 100,000. I’ve done a lot of small shows in different cities. For example, when I went to Rio Branco in Acre, I went to Cruzeiro do Sul. R$ 150,000 started coming in… In six months he started collecting remembered.
