Comedian Carlinhos Maia, 31, said he’s moving to São Paulo with her husband Lucas Guimarães after his apartment was stolen. The information was confirmed by himself via his Instagram.
Carlinhos responded to some messages on the subject and made the change clear.
“We will live in São Paulo, but we will always be here (Maceió),” he wrote in response to a follower.
“Alagoas will remain as wonderful as ever. (…) But at the moment I don’t have the courage to stay there,” said another, stressing that he hopes the police will solve the case.

He also rejected criticism of the decision: “It’s easy to talk, São Paulo has extremely safe condominiums. I can’t control my panic attacks.”

However, he denied selling the apartment.
“This apartment is still a dream. Everything is changed there, armored doors… Unfortunately, my whole team is no longer with me there, a lot has changed. That’s it, a new stage,” he said.
Theft
The Maceió apartment was raided on the night of May 28 while the comedian was preparing for plastic surgery at a hospital in Aracaju.
Also absent was Carlinhos’ husband Lucas Guimarães on a trip to Cancún, Mexico.
Among the items stolen were luxury watches and jewelry. The value of the loss would be approximately R$5 million.
After the episode, both Carlinhos and Lucas stated that since the criminals didn’t flip the house and went straight to the safe, the robbery would have been planned by someone nearby.
“It’s not about things, but I need to know who’s on my side. Every piece of evidence that comes up, the more we marvel at everything,” the influencer said on Instagram Stories.

In a report on the security measures offered on site, the company informs that access to remote surveillance of the apartment and the common areas of the building is free for residents.
“The condominium offers an identification system and history recording at the social entrance, automatic opening of the garage by encryption and ‘panic room’: when parking in this location, a silent alarm alerts the concierge and/or the relevant authorities”.
The highend building’s communal areas feature an infinity pool, sauna, gym and gourmet area.
In an interview with Fantástico (TV Globo) last Sunday, Carlinhos said he still couldn’t return to the apartment after the attack and “didn’t even know” if he would.
The report also revealed exclusive images showing a couple, a man and a woman, entering the building with their bodies covered on the day of the crime.
According to the report, police believe the crime had been planned for some time, as the main surveillance camera had been shut down for 15 days.
