Mexican singer and designer Amparín Serrano, who was a member of the music group Flans, died last week after a fatal accident was reported at her home. He was 57 years old.
The artist was hospitalized due to the severe beatings she suffered after the terrible event, the details of which are not clear but which she could not survive, and died on Friday.
“A piece of person, my mother. Undone inside and out I cannot express how much I love you mother… may you be granted the miracle you have given to millions of people. I love you endlessly and I ask you all to pray for her,” her youngest daughter, Camila West, posted on Instagram.
In recent years, the artist has gained prestige through the creation of the brand “Distroller” and her works “Virgencita Plis”, “Ksimeritos”, “Neonatos”, “Chamoy” and “Amiguis”.
For a short period of two years he was a member of the group Flans and then Media Luna, both groups from the 80’s.
Flans originally consisted of Ivonne Guevara García, Ilse María Olivo Schweinfurth and Irma Angélica Hernández Ochoa (Mimí) and was successful in the second half of the 1980s. The group still exists as a duet with their original members Ilse and Mimí, but without using the original name.
