Former participant of “Big Brother Brasil 22”, Rodrigo Mussi was surprised by a request from his mother shortly after leaving the program. According to the exbrother, the matriarch demanded R$50,000 from her son without any explanation, leading him to decide to end the relationship between the two.
“It was in the morning [póseliminação]. He was angry. Imagine when you need it most. It was a shock, it was strong,” the commercial director recalled in an interview with journalist Léo Dias. “The drastic thing was when it ended for me [a nossa relação]it was in the morning of [participação na] Ana Maria Braga. We go out of the ‘BBB’ very mad, we don’t even sleep well. In the morning I received a message from her: “I want R$ 50,000”. It wasn’t possible, so I said, ‘What for?’ ‘Because I want R$50,000 I know the son I have’, something like that.”
Rodrigo went on to say that after his mother’s message, he decided to break up with her and asked her to stop looking for him. Despite this, the exbrother endured another awkward episode with the matriarch, who made him not interested in resuming the relationship in the future.
The situation happened shortly after Rodrigo’s serious accident at the end of March this year. The mother is said to have visited him in the hospital and tried to photograph him in the coma in the room: “The cameras took it, then the security guards took it, she had the photo deleted and she could no longer enter the hospital. When she woke up from the coma, they told me and I was like, ‘Normal, I knew it was going to happen,'” he recalled.
Rodrigo has spoken several times about the difficult relationship with his parents, who sometimes threw him out of the house. In his first interview after the accident, the commercial director recalled childhood fights and aggression between his parents and even a case of sexual abuse by a nanny.
“One question I asked myself was, ‘How long am I going to fight?’ [Depois do acidente] I thought, ‘Again? How long am I going to fight?’” he explained, recalling the postBBB22 opportunities he wasn’t able to take advantage of because of the event. “I’ve been fighting my whole life to be independent and that’s where I was dependent,” he added of the period he was hospitalized.
