China has launched an experimental railway in the southern province of Jiangxi. It is the first train in the world to benefit from a new magnet technology (maglev).
Corresponding report by the South China Morning Post, the novel medium uses powerful magnets rich in rare earth elements to create a constant repulsion force strong enough to lift a train into the air 88 passengers.
