China launches the world’s first Sky Train. Hover without using energy September 5th September 5th

China has launched an experimental railway in the southern province of Jiangxi. It is the first train in the world to benefit from a new magnet technology (maglev).

Corresponding report by the South China Morning Post, the novel medium uses powerful magnets rich in rare earth elements to create a constant repulsion force strong enough to lift a train into the air 88 passengers.

Maglev trains are nothing new: many countries are already using them. However, thanks to new Chinese technology called ‘Red Railway’it’s the first train that no physical contact some with the rail. It drives at a speed of under the track 80km/ha 10 meters above the ground.

Due to the lack of friction, you only need one small amount of electricity to propel themselves and therefore has little electromagnetic radiation.

In addition, the technology is quite cheap, since the construction costs approx 10% of the expenses the construction of a subway. In addition, it is robust, as there is hardly any failure or damage to the train in continuous operation, since the permanent magnetic field absorbs most vibrations.

China has long planned to build maglev trains using permanent magnets. In 2021, China created a maglev train capable of speeds of 600 kilometers per hour.
