BUENOS AIRES, 12th September (RHC) – The investigation into the assassination of Vice President Cristina Fernández continues in Argentina following the identification of a suspected third party and the analysis of cell phones of several suspects.

On the first of this month, around 9:00 p.m. local time, a man of Brazilian nationality identified as Fernando Sabag, 35, pointed a gun at the former president’s head as she greeted people gathering in front of her address in the capital’s Recoleta district had.

The Directorate of Legal Assistance in Complex Crimes and Organized Crime produced a report based on cellphone checks of those involved and their close circle, but it is believed the individuals had multiple phones, some of which were stolen, so the information may be incomplete . .
